Once you receive your written offer simply click the accept button and we will be in touch to arrange a convenient time to meet with you at your home. to the right
Complete a simple self survey form, and attach photographs and some basic floor plans and measurments of your property and upload to your project board via desktop of via an app on your tablet or smartphone.
Your designer will collaborate with you directly via the project board.
Alternatively you can request a home consultation. This gives you the opportunity to sit down with your designer and discuss your home extension plans in greater detail and in the comfort of your own home.
Your designer will be able to answer any questions you may have as well as throw a few ideas of their own into the mix.
Once your designer has everything they need, theyr will produce the full 2D house extension plans. These will be used for obtaining planning/permitted development approval for your extension project.
We will of course send these initial extension plans across to you prior to submission into the council.
This will give you the opportunity to request any alterations to the design before they go into the Council.
Remember, we offer an unlimited revision service to all of our clients.
If you have selected the 3D option then it is around this time that your designer will request further information from you in regard to colour schemes, interior design preferences etc so that they can prepare accurate photorealistic visuals of how your home will look.
Your designer will encourage you to share any pintrest or Houzz boards that you like together with any photos.
All of which can be easily linked to or uploaded directly into your project board in a simple to use intuitive way much like we are all used to via social media platforms.
Once you have approved the 2D planning/permitted development drawings we will complete all relevant forms and submit these along with your home extension plans into the Council.
Furthermore we will act as your agents, liaising with the planning officers through the process right up until your home extension plans are approved/a decision notice is issued.
Our in house party wall surveyors will produce all relevent party wall notices and serve them on any neighbours who may be affected by the works and are protected under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
Your assigned Party Wall Surveyor will contact you around this time to explain the Act in greater detail as well as providing advice on all matters relating to Party Wall etc Act.
Once planning have approved your home extension plans, we will produce the building regulations plans should you require.
Once produced, we will submit these into building control for you.
As before, we will be your agents and liaise with building control until everything is approved.
These modified extension plans will contain full builders work details and therefore this is the time that you will need to contact contractors and obtain accurate quotes for the work.
